The Melges 14 fleet takes on the Garda Lake wind factory in Riva del Garda
The Melges 14 Fleet racing in Italy keeps growing with new entries from Spain and USA. The first day of racing at the 2019 Melges 14 Garda Challenge was characterized by 18 to 20 knots of south "ora" wind and saw 4 races completed with 4 different winners. On the second racing day, the fleet had an early morning with two regattas held under a light north "Peler" Wind.
The Riva Del Garda event ends with 6 races completed and a podium where the boats are all packed in few points difference.
The Winner Is Alessio Muciaccia who previously dominated the Scarlino Event! In second position Mario Aquila, the only sailor that can count on two bullets. On the third step Victor Marino at his firsts appearance on the Melges 14 Class.
The next event of the Melges 14 World League, the Melges 14 Euro Cup, will be held in Malcesine 7-8 September!
